I get overwhelmed when I think about Gabby and David. Not only are they head over heels for each other, but they radiate that kind of love and kindness to everyone around them. It's palpable.
I couldn't have been more excited to photograph their day. They told me all about how much work was going in to it, how Gabby's mom was making the arbor (that turned out so so so beyond words), how every detail upon detail was hand picked with love. I was so pumped up to see all of the color and knew that with Gabby and David's collective taste behind the wheel- it wouldn't disappoint.
When I showed up to The Allan House, I was blown away. I've never seen it look more inviting and done up. And then, after adding all of the amazing things that Gabby (and friends and family) did themselves, put Lonestar Blooms on top? It was gorgeous.
And that's just how everything looked. The way that everything felt? Indescribable. David crying while Gabby walked up behind him for their first look... I cried. Their son, Gideon, coming down the aisle and David crying... I cried. Basically, David and I both cried a lot. Their vows were heart felt and funny, tears and laughter. And then the dancing? Oh boy. Their friends and family feasted on pancakes and waffles and then drank mimosas and danced their booty's off in the late morning.
And it was perfect.
